Jeju City to inspect automotive businesses
Focus to be on proper management


Jeju City will conduct inspections on the operation of 215 businesses that deal with automobiles, such as auto repair shops and car dealerships, in western areas from October 4th to 29th.

The focus of inspections include
unregistered activities,
compliance with related laws
and proper management of disposal facilities
for waste oil and water.

If serious violations are detected,
violators will face suspension of business or
be revoked of their business registration.

Officials will also file complaints with the police
depending on the severity of the violation.

Meanwhile, corrective action
was ordered on seven cases
and fines were imposed on four cases last year.



제주시, 자동차관리사업장 운영실태 지도점검

제주시가 내달 4일부터 29일까지 서부지역 자동차관리사업장 215개소를 대상으로
운영실태 지도점검을 실시합니다.

점검 항목은 무등록 관리사업 행위와 관계법령 준수여부, 폐유·폐수 처리시설 등의 적정관리 여부 등입니다.

점검 결과에 따라 중대한 위반사항이 있는 경우
영업정지와 등록취소 또는 관할경찰서에 고발조치 할 방침입니다.

한편 지난해에는 7건에 대해 시정조치 하고
4건에 대해서는 과태료를 부과하는 등 행정조치를 진행했습니다.
