49% of swine manure purified in Jeju

The province is working to purify and reuse 1,321 tons of swine manure from January through August. This is 49% of daily swine manure production in Jeju.

The provincial government analyzed that the ratio of
spraying liquid manure is decreasing.

Water used in purifying swine manure is being reutilized
for cleaning and spraying fog and is used as cooling water
for a resource plant operated by Jeju (양돈 농협) Yangdon Nonghyup.

The province is planning to boost the reutilization rate
to 70% by 2023 through spending 3 billion won
on five farms to purify 90 tons of swine manure per day.

제주도가 올들어 지난달까지
양돈분뇨 1천 321톤을 정화 처리해 재이용했다고 밝혔습니다.

이는 도내 양돈분뇨 하루 발생량의 49% 수준으로,
그만큼 중산간 액비 살포 비율이 줄고 있는 것으로
제주도는 분석하고 있습니다.

양돈분뇨 정화 처리수는
제주양돈농협이 운영하는 자원화공장에서
세척 용수와 안개 분무 용수, 냉각수 등으로 활용됩니다.

제주도는
올해 5개 농가에 예산 30억 원을 투입해
하루 90톤의 분뇨를 정화 처리하는 등
2023년까지 재이용 비율을 70%로 끌어올린다는 계획입니다.
