Seogwipo City collected ￦32B in local taxes
46 lawsuits totalling 40 billion won filed

Seogwipo City has collected 30 billion won of local taxes through lawsuits for the past three years. According to the city, 46 lawsuits totaling 40 billion won
in local taxes have been filed for the past three years.

Among them, Seogwipo City won 21 lawsuits,
receiving 32 billion won.

In particular, the city took 3.1 billion won of taxes
by winning the administrative litigation that dealt with
lifting the investment promotion zone designation
in Saekdal-dong last August.

Since the city won this lawsuit, the city government
is planning to impose an additional
4 billion won of taxes on similar cases.

최근 3년간 각종 소송을 통해
300억원대의 지방세를 거둬들인 것으로 나타났습니다.

서귀포시에 따르면
최근 3년간 46건에 400억원대의 지방세 소송이 제기돼
이 가운데 21건, 320억원대에 대해 승소 종결처리됐습니다.

특히 지난 8월 색달동 투자진흥지구 해제에 따른
지방세 추징액에 대한 행정소송에서 승소해 31억원을 징수했습니다.

서귀포시는 투자진흥지구와 관련한 소송에서 승소함에 따라
유사사례에 대해
40억원을 추가 과세할 예정입니다.
