Seogwipo City inspects mandarin oranges
Crackdown on mislabelling of origin

Seogwipo City is strengthening a crackdown on labelling of origin of extremely early maturing tangerines through the 20th, as their distribution period is approaching.

Inspection teams will be dispatched
to roads where lots of trucks transport mandarins,
including (평화로) Pyeonghwa-ro and (남조로) Namjo-ro.


When suspicious trucks are observed,
their travel paths will be tracked and
investigations will be conducted.

Seogwipo City uncovered four mislabelling cases last year
with the help of the Municipal Police.

주요 도로변에 단속반을 배치하고
의심차량에 대한 이동경로를 파악한 뒤 위반여부를 조사하게 됩니다.

서귀포시는 지난해 자차경찰단과 함께
4건의 원산지 표시 위반행위를 적발한 바 있습니다.
