Single person households reach 40%
A total of 306,000 in number live alone

One person households make up 40% of total households in Jeju. According to the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, the number of single-person households is 128,000 in Jeju, which is 42.1% of total number of households, that is 306,000.

Two-member households take 22.7% and
four-member households account for 19.4%.

There are nine cities and provinces nationwide,
including Jeollanam-do, Gangwon-do and
Gyeongsangbuk-do Province that have
single person households with more than
40% of total households.

제주에서
가구원 수가 한명인 1인 세대 비율이 40%를 넘어섰습니다.

행정안전부에 따르면
지난 달 기준 제주지역 30만6천여 세대 가운데
1인 세대는 12만8천여 세대로 전체의 42.1%로 집계됐습니다.

이어 2인 세대가 22.7%,
4인 이상 세대는 19.4%로 나타났습니다.

전국에서 1인 세대 비중이 40%를 넘은 곳은
전남과 강원, 경북 등 모두 9군데입니다.
