1.21M of fish, shellfish to be released
Species include red sea cucumbers and abalones

The provincial government will release 1.21 million fish at 50 village fisheries from this month through December.

The released species include 610,000 red sea cucumbers,
470,000 abalones and 120,000 small abalones.

In this month, small abalones will be released,
followed by abalones in November and
red sea cucumbers in December,
considering appropriate sea temperature and surviving conditions.

Meanwhile, 820,000 fish and shells were released
in village fisheries as future resources during the first half of this year.



마을어장 50곳에 수산종자 121만 마리 방류

제주도가 이달부터 12월까지
도내 50개 마을어장에
수산종자 121만 마리를 방류합니다.

방류 물량은
홍해삼 61만여 마리와 전복 47만여 마리,
오분자기 12만 마리 등입니다.

방류 일정은
적정 수온과 생존 여건 등을 고려해
이달에는 오분자기, 다음 달 전복,
12월에 홍해삼 순으로 진행될 예정입니다.

한편 상반기에는
82만 마리가 마을어장 미래 자원으로 방류됐습니다.
