More subsidies for farmers
Province covers up price difference of sauries

The provincial office will cover up the difference between current and average price of sauries which are frequently used for baits of hairtails, as their prices spiked due to decrease in the catch of sauries.

Thus, the office will subsidize fishermen who
purchase the bait to catch hairtails from September.
Subsidies will be 12,270 won per box of sauries,
that is a difference in the current and 3-year average price.

Coast fishing vessels will be able to receive
subsidies for 8 boxes of sauries per month,
fishing vessels less than 29 tons
can receive subsidies for 100 boxes
and subsidies for up to 200 boxes can be received
by vessels greater than 29 tons.

Applications are being received by
the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives,
called (수협)Suhyup.


갈치 미끼 '꽁치' 단가 폭등…구매 차액 보전

제주도가 갈치 미끼로 주로 사용되는
꽁치 생산량이 급감해 판매 단가가 폭등함에 따라
차액을 보전해주기로 했습니다.

이에따라 갈치 어획용 꽁치를 구입한
어민을 대상으로 9월 구입분부터 현재 꽁치 판매단가와
최근 3년 평균 단가의 차액인
상자당 1만 2천 270원을 지원합니다.

연안어선은 월별로 8상자, 29톤 미만 근해어선은 100상자,
29톤 이상 근해어선은
200상자까지 지원받을 수 있습니다.

지원을 희망하는 어민은
수협으로 신청하면 됩니다.
