43% of Seoul HQ workers of province resign
Following resignation of former governor Won

A large number of the employees of the Seoul Headquarters of the provincial office resigned from their positions following the resignation of former governor Won Heeryong.

According to audited results of administrative affairs,
six officials in the Department of Parliamentary Relations
of the Seoul Headquarters resigned
around the time when former governor Won left office.

The total number of resigned workers accounts to 43%
of its total count of 14.

Thus, the provincial council is questioning
whether the headquarters can function properly.
They added that the provincial government
should officially apologize to the residents for the resignation
of such a large number of people.

제주도 서울본부에서 근무하던 직원 상당수가
원희룡 전 지사의 사직을 전후해
퇴직한 것으로 드러나
정치적 행보에 대한 비판이 나오고 있습니다.

제주도의회 행정사무감사 자료에 따르면
서울본부 국회협력 담당 부서에 근무하던
임기제 공무원 6명이
원 전 지사 사직을 전후해 퇴직한 것으로 확인됐습니다.

퇴직한 인원은 서울본부 정원 14명 가운데 43%에 해당합니다.

이에 대해 도의회는
대규모 인원이 사퇴함에 따라
도민에게 유.무형의 피해를 끼친 만큼
제주도가 이에 대해 사과해야 하고
서울본부가 제대로 업무를 수행할 수 있을지 걱정이라고 지적했습니다.
