A group asking for establishment of an ordinance for agricultural subsidies urged provincial councilor Hyun Kil-ho to resign.

The group held a press conference in front of
the provincial council building on the 22nd
and stated that Councilor Hyun
made comments raising concerns
over the need of agricultural subsidies
and that he should officially apologize
and resign from his position.

Councilor (현길호) Hyun Kil-ho had raised concerns over the effectiveness of agricultural subsidies, which takes less than 1% of farmers' incomes,
stating that better supporting measures were needed.
