Jeju City and Seogwipo City will conduct a joint inspection on livestock production facilities that emit odors through the end of this month.

Officials will inspect the sites that have received persistent odor complaints
and complaints on spraying liquid-manure.

Seogwipo City is planning to closely examine 10 sites
including pig farms and livestock excretion recycling companies
on their process of discharging, transporting and disposing excretion.

Facilities that exceed the odor limit
will be issued enforcement notices or receive fines.

축산악취 배출시설에 대한 합동 지도 점검을 실시합니다.

점검 대상은
악취 민원이 발생하고 있는 농가와
액비 살포 민원이 발생하는 재활용 업체입니다.

서귀포시는
양돈장과 가축분뇨 재활용 업체 등 10개소를 대상으로
가축분뇨 배출, 운반, 처리과정에 대해 면밀하게 점검할 계획입니다.

악취 밀폐가 미흡한 농가에 대해서는
개선 명령을 내리거나
과태료를 부과할 방침입니다.
