Mandarin Under Inspection

The provincial government will operate a quality inspection system of mandarin oranges. The quality inspection will be conducted on the site before shipment.

27 organizations including the Agricultural Technology Center,
National Agricultural Cooperative Federation and
Jeju Citrus (농협) Nonghyup distribution center
will accept applications from farms.

The inspection criteria includes that Hallabongs
should have higher than 12 brix of sugar content
and lower than 1.1% in acidity level
and (천혜향) Cheonhyehyangs need to have higher than 11 brix of sugar content and lower than 1.1% in acidity level.

Results of the inspection
will be notified to farms
within five days from their inspections
and approval for harvest or shipment
will be determined based on the test results.

제주도가 만감류 출하 전 품질검사제를 실시합니다.

검사 기관은 농업기술센터와 지역농협,
감귤농협 유통센터 등 27군데로
농가의 신청을 받아
현장에서 품질 검사를 진행하게 됩니다.

검사 기준은 한라봉이 당도 12브릭스 이상, 산함량 1.1% 미만,
천혜향이 당도 11브릭스 이상, 산함량 1.1% 미만입니다.

품질 검사 결과는 5일 이내 농가에 통보되며
이에 따라 수확 또는 출하 가능 여부가 결정됩니다.
