Illegally Run Restaurant Caught

The Jeju Municipal Police uncovered a restaurant violating rules under the Food Sanitation Act and will book the restaurant owner.

According to the police, the restaurant was equipped
with a DJ booth, lighting facilities and sound system to
lead party participants to dance which is a violation
of business owner rules.

During the investigation, it was confirmed that dozens of
participants were dancing and drinking without wearing masks.

The Food Sanitation Act stipulates that actions that
cause customers to sing and dance are not allowed
under the rules of business owners and violators will
face up to three years in jail or
up to 30 million won of fines.


'술 파티 조장'…불법 영업 감성포차 적발

제주도 자치경찰단은 식품위생법상 영업자 준수사항 위반 혐의로
감성포차 업주를 적발해 입건할 에정이라고 밝혔습니다.

자치경찰에 따르면,
해당 업소는
DJ 부스와 미러볼 같은 조명 음향시설을 갖추고
손님들이 술 파티를 하면서 춤을 추도록 조장해
영업자 준수사항을 위반한 혐의를 받고 있습니다.

적발 당시 손님 수 십명이 마스크로 착용하지 않은 채
술을 마시며 춤을 추고 있던 것으로 확인됐습니다.

식품위생법은 노래나 춤으로 손님의 유흥을 돋우는
접객행위를 하지 않도록
영업자 준수사항을 규정하고 있으며
이를 위반할 경우 3년 이하의 징역 또는
3천만 원 이하 벌금에 처하고 있습니다.
