1.2 Times More Jobs for Males in Jeju

It was found that the number of jobs for males is 1.2 times higher than those for females in the province.

According to the statistics of businesses in Jeju, the number of jobs for male amounted to a total of 157,900 last year
and this accounts for 54.5% of the total number of jobs.

The number of positions for females was 132,000
which accounts for 45.5%.
Thus, positions for male are 1.2 times more than those for females.

By age, jobs for those in their forties take the highest portion,
which is 26.2% followed by jobs for people in their fifties and thirties.

제주지역 일자리가 성별에 따라 최대 1.2배 차이를 보이는 것으로
나타났습니다.

제주 사업체 생멸등록 통계에 따르면
지난해 기준 도내 남자 일자리는 15만 7천 9백개로
전체의 54.5%를 차지했습니다.

반면 여자 일자리는 13만 2천개로 45.5%를 차지해
남성의 일자리가 여성보다 1.2배 많은 것으로 조사됐습니다.

연령별 일자리는 40대 일자리가 26.2%로 가장 많고,
50대, 30대 일자리 순으로 나타났습니다.
