Plans for Snow Removal

The Jeju City Municipal Office is operating an integrated situation room for snow removal to deal with heavy snow this winter.

Sandbags and salt will be distributed to sloped roads that often get a lot of snow as well as calcium chloride, and eco-friendly de-icing chemicals in preparation for heavy snowfalls.

In particular, a pilot project of heat-line freeze protection systems will be introduced at Ido 2-dong, where roads are frequently freezed.

In addition, officials will cooperate with related agencies to remove snow where needed as soon as possible.

염화칼슘과 소금, 친환경제설제를 비축해
적설시 교통불편 해소에 나설 계획입니다.

특히 상습 결빙 구간인
제주시 이도2동 고산동산 부근 도로에는 열선을 시범 도입합니다.

제주시는 이와 함께 신속한 제설작업을 위해
유관기관과 긴밀한 협조체계를 유지해 나갈 계획입니다.
