Earthquake engineering projects of local schools will be finalized within next year.

The Board of Education of the provincial council has
increased the budget for the project by 4.3 billion won,
reflecting in the third supplementary budget of the
Provincial Office of Education.

Thus, earthquake-resistant construction
will be conducted at 20 local schools next year,
including earthquake-resistant construction which is to be finalized
within next year at nine schools where construction is
originally scheduled to start in 2023.

Currently, 95.8% of 180 schools which are planned to receive the quake-resistance upgrades have been completed.

학교 내진 보강 사업 내년 완료…추경 예산 증액

도내 학교의 내진 보강 사업이
내년에 모두 완료됩니다.

제주도의회 교육위원회는 교육청 3차 추경 예산에
학교 내진 보강 사업비로 43억 원을 증액했습니다.

이에 따라
2023년 예정했던 9개 학교의
내진 공사를 내년에 조기 마무리하는 등
20개 학교의 내진 공사가 진행됩니다.

현재 내진 보강 대상 학교 180여 곳 가운데
95.8%가 내진 설계를 완료했습니다.
