Land Transactions Rise, Areas Drop

The number of land transactions in Jeju has increased this year,
but 12% decreased in terms of land area.

The provincial government reported that some 52,200 plots
had changed hands this year through the end of last month.
That’s an increase of 7,300 plots compared to the same period of last year, when 44,900 plots were sold and purchased.

On the other hand, plots covering 50.31 million square meters
were sold last year - 12 percent less land compared to 2020,
when 57.38 million square meters of lands were transacted.
This result indicates that the number of land transactions
dealing with large size lands has decreased.

By area, the number of the transactions
increases in dong-administrative regions in Jeju City,
as well as Hallim, Jocheon, Daejeong and Andeok.

제주 토지거래 필지수 증가…면적은 감소

올들어 제주지역 토지거래는 늘었지만 면적은 감소한 것으로
나타났습니다.

제주도에 따르면 지난달 기준 도내서 거래된 토지는
모두 5만2천200여 필지로
지난해 같은 기간 4만4천900여 필지보다
7천300여 필지 증가했습니다.

반면 거래된 토지 면적은 5천31만 제곱미터로
지난해 같은 기간 5천738만제곱미터와 비교해
면적은 12% 감소해
대규모 토지 거래가 줄어든 것으로 분석됐습니다.

지역별로는 제주시 동지역과 한림과 조천, 대정, 안덕지역의
토지거래가 크게 늘어났습니다.
