Jeju Olle Acquires Status from UN

The Jeju Olle Foundation acquired special consultative status from the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

This indicates that the Jeju Olle Foundation has been acknowledged for its status as an international nonprofit organization.
This enables the foundation to collaborate with the UN
and be involved in the events and system of the UN.

The Jeju Olle Foundation may participate in international meetings
and events held by the UN, such as
the Commission on Sustainable Development,
Commission for Social Development and Human Rights Council and
can submit their statements.
In addition, the rights of entry to UN’s regions
and the opportunity of networking with other organizations
will be given.

'특별 협의적 지위'를 획득했습니다.

이는 제주올레가
국제 비영리기구로서의 지위와 위상을 인정받은 것으로
앞으로 UN과 협력하고
UN체제에 공식적으로 참여할 수 있게 됩니다.

이에 따라 제주올레는
UN이 주최하는
지속개발위원회와 사회개발위원회, 인권이사회 등의
국제회의와 행사에 참여해
서면 혹은 구두 의견서를 제출할 수 있고
UN 구역 출입 권한과
다른 단체와의 네트워킹 기회 등이 주어집니다.
