Province Purchases Products from Disabled

The provincial government said that they exceeded the target quota of the preferential purchasing system for products made by the disabled
both this year and last year.

The total purchasing amounts recorded 215.4 billion won this year
and the amounts used to purchase products
made by severely handicapped people totalled to 2.78 billion won,
which accounted for 1.29% of the total purchasing amounts.

This is greater than 1% which is the minimum requirement
by Seoul stipulated in the Preferential Purchasing System of Products Manufactured by Disabled.

10 occupational rehabilitation agencies for the disabled
and one sales facility in Jeju
are producing and distributing banners and copy paper.


장애인생산품 우선구매, '법정 비율' 초과

제주도가 지난해에 이어 올해도
중증장애인 생산품 우선구매 법정목표치를 초과 달성했다고
밝혔습니다.

제도에 따르면
올해 총 구매액 2천 154억 원 가운데
중증장애인 생산품 우선구매액은
27억 8천 여만 원으로 1.29%의 비율을 기록했습니다.

이는 정부가 권고한
중증장애인 생산품 우선 구매비율 1%를 초과한 것입니다.

한편 도내에는
장애인 직업재활시설 10곳과
판매시설 1곳에서
현수막이나 복사용지 등을 생산해 유통하고 있습니다.
