Gujwa Offshore Wind Farms Begin

The establishment of an offshore wind farm at the coast of Handong-ri, Gujwa-eup will be promoted by public organizations.

The Jeju Energy Corporation said that the agreements on environmental impact assessment for the project has been recently passed by the Jeju Provincial Council.

The project will invest 600 billion won to establish the 105-megawatt offshore wind farm
which can be used by 80,000 households.

The JEC plans to choose a developer through a contest at the beginning of next year
and establish a special company to launch construction in 2023
after receiving an approval for the project to procred



한동·평대 해상풍력 본격…내년 사업자 공모

제주시 구좌읍 한동리와 평대리 앞바다에
해상풍력 조성사업이
공공기관 주도로 본격 추진됩니다.

제주에너지공사는
한동.평대 해상풍력 조성사업에 대한
환경영향평가 협의내용 동의안이
최근 제주도의회를 통과함에 따라
본격적인 절차에 들어간다고 밝혔습니다.

이번 사업은
사업비 6천억 원 규모의 투자를 통해
연간 8만여 가구가 사용할 수 있는
105 메가와트급 해상풍력 발전단지를 조성합니다.

에너지공사는
내년 초 공모를 통해 민간사업자를 선정하고
특수목적 법인 설립,
개발사업 시행 승인 등을 거쳐
2023년 발전단지를 착공할 계획입니다.
