Meal Cards for Children

Meal cards will be introduced for children in low-income households beginning this year.

Beginning with the school break period,
the provincial government plans to change the student meal
delivery service to providing a meal card for
children under 18 who live in single parent households
and in families with income less than 52% of the median income.

The meal stipend will be raised from 5,000 won to 7,000 won per meal.
Meal cards can be applied through local community centers and can be used at restaurants and convenience stores.


결식 우려 아동 급식카드 도입

결식이 우려되는 저소득 아동들을 위해
급식카드가 도입됩니다.

제주도는 방학기간 한부모 가정이나 중위소득 52% 이하
저소득층 가정의 만 18살 미만의 아동을 대상으로
부식을 배달해 주던 급방식을
카드를 사용하는 방식으로 바꿀 계획입니다.

급식 지원 단가도
한끼에 종전 5천원에서 7천원으로 인상됩니다.

급식 카드는 읍,면,동 주민센터에서 신청 가능하며
대부분의 식당이나 분식점, 편의점 등에서 사용할 수 있게 됩니다.
