Allowance Expanded for the Disabled

The budget for sport lessons provided for the disabled will be expanded and the period of taking sport lessons will be also expanded a little longer.

Jeju City said that this year’s budget for providing sports lessons for the disabled will be 52 million won which is an increase of 13 million won compared to last year.

Hence, handicapped people can take sport lessons for 10 months,
that is 2 months longer than last year
and the amount of support will also increase
from 80,000 won to 85,000 won.

The handicapped people aged between 19 and 64
can apply for sport lessons
through community centers
and the official website managed by
the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation (KSPO).



장애인 스포츠강좌 이용권 지원 규모·기간 확대

올해부터 장애인 스포츠강좌 이용권 지원 규모와 이용기간이
확대됩니다.

제주시는 올해 장애인 스포츠강좌 이용권 지원 사업에
지난해보다 1천 300만원 증가한 5천200만 원을 투입한다고 밝혔습니다.

이에따라 지원기간은 기존 8개월에서 10개월로 확대되고
지원액도 월 8만원에서 8만 5천 원으로 상향됩니다.

지원대상은
만 19살에서 64살까지 장애인으로
장애인 스포츠강좌 이용권 홈페이지와 읍면동 주민센터에서
신청이 가능합니다.
