Current Social Distancing for Next 3 Weeks

Amid no signs of decline of COVID-19, the current social distancing measures will be extended to February 6th.

The Prime Minister (김 부겸) Kim Boo-kyum said on the 14th
that the current social distancing measures
will continue for the next three weeks,
including Lunar New Year holidays.

As a result, the operating hours for restaurants and cafes
will continue to be restricted by 9 p.m.

However, considering financial damages caused by social distancing,
the ban on gatherings of 5 or more people will be eased.
Private gatherings of up to six people will be permitted.



현행 거리두기 3주간 유지…사적모임 6인까지

코로나19 확산세가 꺾이지 않는 가운데
현행 사회적 거리두기가 다음 달(2월) 6일까지 연장됩니다.

김부겸 국무총리는
오늘 중앙재난안전대책본부회의에서
정부는 설 연휴를 포함해 앞으로 3주 동안
현행 사회적 거리두기를 유지한다고 밝혔습니다.

이에 따라 식당과 카페 등의 영업시간 제한은
밤 9시로 그대로 유지됩니다.

다만 방역조치로 인한 피해를 감안해
사적 모임 제한 인원은 기존 4명에서
6명까지 확대하기로 했습니다.
