Jeju City offers Free Parking during Holidays

Jeju City will operate public parking lots free of charge during the Lunar New Year holiday.

The city has announced that 62 public parking lots
will be open free of charge from the 29th until February 2nd.

However, people have to pay the same fees as before,
if they want to use parking lots in populated venues including the Jeju International Airport and Chilsung-ro Shopping Street.

The city government plans to deploy parking managers
to minimize traffic congestion
and to minimize accidents at
public parking lots at traditional markets.

제주시내 공영 유료주차장이 무료 개방됩니다.

제주시는
설 연휴인 오는 29일부터 다음달(2월) 2일까지
공영주차장 62곳을 무료로 개방한다고 밝혔습니다.

다만 이용객 급증이 예상되는
제주국제공항 입구와 칠성상가 등 일부 주차장은
기존과 같이 유료로 운영됩니다.

제주시는
전통시장과 지역상권 일부 주차장에는
주차관리원을 배치해
교통혼잡과 안전사고 예방에 나서기로 했습니다.
