\Forest Fire Prevention Headquarters in Operation

The provincial government will operate a forest fire prevention countermeasure headquarters through May
to establish a response system.

23 organizations, including provincial and city governments as well as Hallasan National Park will join the headquarters.

They will issue alerts during the wildfire season
and deploy officials to area communities
deemed most at risk.

In particular, the Jeju Forest Aviation Office is equipped with a helicopter to extinguish the forest fire.

제주도가 오는 5월까지
산불방지대책본부를 가동해
재난 대응 태세를 확립한다고 밝혔습니다.

산불방지대책본부는
도와 한라산국립공원, 행정시 등
모두 23개 기관이 참여하며,
산불조심기간에 맞춰 경보를 발령하고
취약지에 감시 인력을 투입할 예정입니다.

특히 산림청 제주산림항공관리소는
산불진화용 대형헬기 1대를 배치해
출동 태세를 갖추고 있습니다.
