Hospitals Designated for Patriots and Veterans

The island has expanded on hospitals designated for patriots and veterans.

The Jeju Regional Office for Patriots Affairs said that two medical clinics in Jeju City and an orthopaedic hospital in Daejeong-eup have been additionally designated as medical institutions for patriots and war veterans.

At the designated hospitals, war veterans can receive up to 90% discounts and people who have received awards for bravery,
and in addition bereaved families can receive up to 60% in fee reductions.

The expansion increases the number of medical institutions for
patriots and war veterans to 12.

보훈 대상자가 진료받을 수 있는
도내 위탁병원이 확대 지정됐습니다.

제주도 보훈청은
제주시내 내과의원 2곳과
대정읍 정형외과 1곳을
보훈 대상자 위탁병원으로 지정했다고 밝혔습니다.

지정된 병원에서는
참전유공자는 90%,
무공수훈자나 유가족 등은 60%까지
진료비를 감면받을 수 있습니다.

이번 확대 지정으로
보훈대상자 위탁병원은 도내 12곳으로 늘었습니다.
