Saekdal Sewage Plant Improvements Finalized

The improvements of the Saekdal sewage treatment plant which treats sewage in the western region of Seogwipo City has been finalized and the operation of the treatment facility will begin next month.

The Jeju Province Water Supply & Drainage Management Headquarters
completed the improvements which started in 2020
and the headquarters will conduct a trial operation
by the end of this month.

If the treatment facility operates without any defaults
and its performance is verified through the trial operation,
the treatment facility will run from next month.

The Saekdal sewage treatment plant will treat 23,000 tons of sewage daily
after improvements.

색달하수처리장 개량 완료…내달 정상 가동

서귀포시 서부 동지역 하수를 담당하는
색달하수처리장 개량 공사가 마무리돼 다음달부터 정상 가동됩니다.

제주도 상하수도본부는
지난 2020년 착공한
색달하수처리장 개량 공사를 마무리하고
이달 말까지
종합 시험운전을 진행할 계획입니다.

시험운전을 통해
정상작동 여부와 하수 적정처리 등의 성능이 검증되면
다음달부터
본격 가동하기로 했습니다.

이에따라 색달하수처리장은
6천 500톤 규모 처리시설을 현대식으로 개량해
하루 2만 3천톤의 하수를 처리하게 됩니다.
