Energy Vouchers Expire on April 30

Energy vouchers which provide monetary support for winter heating costs, will expire on April 30th.

Jeju Island has requested residents to use the pass
as quickly as possible before the period of use expires.

A total of 660 million won of energy vouchers has been provided
to 9,200 households since July last year,
but the province said that lots of vouchers have not been used yet.

Energy vouchers that are not used after April 30th will expire.

Energy voucher provides support in the purchase of utilities,
such as electricity, lamp oil and LPG, for vulnerable populations,
including senior households and families with the disabled.

제주도가
취약계층에게 지원되는 에너지바우처 이용권 마감이 임박했다며
기한 내에 사용해줄 것을 당부했습니다.

지난해 7월부터
지금까지 도내 9천 200여 가구에
에너지바우처를 통해
6억 6천만 원의 난방비가 지원됐지만
아직 상당액이 사용되지 않은 것으로 파악되고 있습니다.

오는 4월 30일 이후 사용하지 않은 잔액은 소멸됩니다.

에너지바우처는
노인이나 영유아, 장애인 등이 포함된
수급자 가구에
전기, 등유, LPG 구입비를 지원하는 제도입니다.
