Expansion of Carbon Point System

The Jeju Municipal Office will expand the carbon point system that provides incentives to the local households cutting their greenhouse gas emissions.

Jeju City will inject approximately 800 million won of budget
into the carbon point system.
This is a 60% increase compared to last year.

Residences and commercial facilities can receive up to 15,000 won
of incentives depending on the amount of reduction
in electricity and water.

In addition, a maximum of 100,000 won of incentives
will be given to 1,700 drivers who reduce their greenhouse gas emissions or mileage after recruitment.

The successful applicants must be drivers of non-business
purpose cars with less than 12 seaters.
