Visits to Nursing Hospitals to be Banned

As the Omicron variant spreads rapidly in Jeju, the provincial government has ordered to ban visitors from entering nursing hospitals which are prone to COVID-19 infection.

The province said that they decided to ban the entry of visitors to protect the seniors in nursing hospitals and the ban will be in effect from the 14th.

Thus, except for essential workers, including facility maintenance workers, people will not be allowed to visit nursing hospitals including guardians.

Non-contact visits which have been allowed will also be prohibited.


감염취약시설 요양병원, 외부인 '출입 금지'

최근 오미크론 변이 바이러스로 인한
확산세가 심화되자 제주도가 감염 취약시설인 요양병원에
외부인 출입 금지 조치를 내렸습니다.

제주도는 요양병원 내 고령자를 보호하기 위해
지난 14일부터 외부인의 출입을 일체 금지했다고 밝혔습니다.

시설 유지 관리 등에 필요한 필수인력을 제외하고
보호자 등도 출입할 수 없게 됐습니다.

이에따라 그동안 비접촉으로 가능했던
비대면 면회도 제한되고 있습니다.
