Energy Vouchers Expire on April 30

Energy vouchers, which provide monetary support for winter heating costs, will expire on April 30th.

Jeju Island has requested residents to use the pass
as quickly as possible before the period of use expires.

A total of 660 million won of energy vouchers has been provided
to 9,200 households since July last year,
but the province said that lots of vouchers have not been used yet.

The energy vouchers which have not be used before April 30th will expire.

The energy voucher provides support in the purchase of utilities, such as electricity, lamp oil and LPG, for vulnerable populations, including senior households and families with the disabled.


서부중 도시계획시설 결정…부지 매입 추진

제주시 서부중학교 건립을 위한
도시계획 결정이 이뤄지면서 부지 매입이 진행됩니다.

제주시는 서부중학교 예정 부지인
제주시 외도동 일대 2만 5천여 제곱미터에 대해
학교 도시계획시설 결정을 내리고 지형 도면을 고시했습니다.

이에 따라 제주도교육청은 예정 부지 토지 소유자들과
체결한 매도의향서를 근거로
토지 매입을 추진합니다.

교육청은 4백억 원 을 투입해 2024년 개교를 목표로
31개 학급, 학생수 840여 명 규모의
가칭 서부중학교 신설을 추진하고 있습니다.
