Jeju City Earns by Disposing Waste

Jeju City earned 18.1 billion won of tax revenues by disposing of waste last year.

This amount is an increase by 9% from
16.4 billion won which was the amount of tax revenues for waste disposal from a year ago.

The city government earned 12.7 billion won by selling standard plastic garbage bags
and earned tax revenues of 1.7 billion won
by disposing of large-size waste.

The revenues earned by processing food waste decreased to 1.8 billion won by reducing the amount of food waste which was possible with the distribution of food waste reducers.

The amount of selling recyclable products, such as plastic, increases to 1.9 billion won due to an increase in the demand caused by the growth of delivery services.

제주시의
지난해 생활폐기물 처리 수수료 세입이 181억 원으로 나타났습니다.

이같은 세입액은
전년도의 164억원 보다 9% 증가한 수치입니다.

세부적으로는
종량제 봉투 세입액이 127억원,
대형폐기물 배출 세입액 17억원 등입니다.

음식물류폐기물의 경우
감량기 보급 등으로 발생량이 감소해
전년보다 줄어든 18억원으로 나타났고

플라스틱 등 재활용 판매액은
배달 문화 확산 등으로
전년 보다 발생량이 증가해 19억 원으로 집계됐습니다.
