No Self-Quarantine Required for Students

Students whose family members are confirmed to be positive for COVID-19 are now allowed to attend schools starting this week, regardless of whether they are vaccinated or not.

The Ministry of Education allows students and school staff to be exempt from self-quarantine starting from this week, even though people who live with them are infected with coronavirus.

Thus, they are allowed to go to school without self-quarantine regardless of whether they have received COVID-19 vaccines.

However, in the case where people living with students are confirmed to be positive for COVID-19, the students have to receive a PCR test within three days from the infection and then they should receive a rapid antigen test in six or seven days.

동거인에 대한 자가격리 면제를 적용합니다.

이에 따라 동거 가족이 확진되더라도
접종 여부와 상관없이
격리하지 않고
등교를 할 수 있게 됩니다.

다만 3일 안에
유전자 증폭 검사를 받고
이후 6~7일 차에 신속항원검사를 받아야 합니다.
