Free Rental of Wheelchairs and Smart Devices

Free rental services of wheelchairs and smart watches that have an SOS-button for emergency situations are receiving positive responses from travelers.

According to the Jeju Tourism Association,
wheelchairs were rented out 979 times and
smart watches with an SOS-button were borrowed 1,009 times.
This is an increase of 240 times and 400 times, respectively.

In particular, rental services are becoming popular.
Not only has the number of solo travelers increased,
but the proportion of vulnerable people, including pregnant women,
visiting Jeju continues to rise.

Wheelchairs and devices can be borrowed at
the Jeju International Airport and Jeju Port free of cost.

지난해 제주여행킴이 대여 실적은 1천9건, 휠체어는 979건으로
전년보다 각각 400건, 240여 건 증가했습니다.

특히 최근 나홀로 여행 뿐 아니라
가족 단위 관광객과 임산부 등 관광약자의 비중도 높아지고 있어
편의서비스가 각광받고 있습니다.

휠체어와 여행지킴이는 제주공항과 제주항 여객터미널에서
무료로 대여할 수 있습니다.
