POE Appoints Teachers for Peace Education

45 honorary teachers will offer peace and human rights education regarding the April 3rd Incident to students.

Honorary teachers will visit pre-booked schools
who will talk about their stories based on experiences
during the April 3rd Incident and will explain about historic sites
of April 3rd Incident located nearbye schools.

62 schools have applied for receiving education
from honorary schools.

Meanwhile, the Provincial Office of Education
set up policies of implementing a non-face-to-face method of education last year, but plans to offer offline education this year
as much as possible.

올해 4.3평화인권교육에 45명의 명예교사가 활동합니다.

명예교사들은 사전 신청한 학교를 방문해
과거 4.3의 경험을 바탕으로 한 생생한 삶의 이야기와
학교 인근 4.3유적지 등에 대한 설명을 하게 됩니다.

올해 명예교사제를 신청한 학교는 62개 학교입니다.

제주도교육청은
지난해는 코로나19로 비대면 교육을 실시했지만
올해는 최대한 대면 교육이 이뤄지도록 할 방침입니다.
