Jeju Recruits 50 People to Inspect Human Rights Policies

The provincial office will recruit 50 people for checking human rights policies and report cases of human rights violations.

The office will make reports on any infringement of human rights in public sectors
and discrimination. They will also inspect human rights policies pushed forward by the province.

In addition, they will suggest improvement in policies to guarantee human rights and will collect opinions. To secure representativeness, the provincial government will prioritize to designate one person per district and region.

제주도가 인권 정책을 점검하고
침해 사례를 제보하는 역할을 하는
도민 인권지킴이 50명을 다음달 12일까지 모집합니다.

인권지킴이는 공공영역 인권침해 또는
차별 행위에 대한 제보와 제주도가 추진하는
인권정책 등을 점검하게 됩니다.

또 인권보장 증진을 위한 제도개선 사항을 제안하고
의견 수렴 역할도 수행합니다.

제주도는 대표성을 확보하는 차원에서
읍면동별로 1명씩 우선 배정할 방침입니다.
