Jeju Dongbu Police Station to be Rebuilt

The Jeju Dongbu Police Station will be rebuilt after 34 years since 1988.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance held a meeting
and said that the Jeju Dongbu Police Station is selected
as the pilot site for the project.

The new Jeju Dongbu Police Station will be built at the site
of the old police patrol company.
The construction will be initiated in 2024 with the investment of 40.2 billion won and will be completed in 2026.

The current building of Jeju Dongbu Police Station
was moved in October 1988 and the building
has been used since then.




제주동부경찰서 34년 만에 신청사 건립 추진

제주동부경찰서가 34년 만에 새로 지어집니다.

기획재정부는
제2차 국유재산심의위원회 부동산분과회의를 열고
'아름다운 공공청사 만들기' 시범사업지로
제주동부경찰서를 선정했다고 밝혔습니다.

새 청사는 옛 방범순찰대 부지에 들어설 예정이며
사업비 402억원이 투입돼
오는 2024년 착공해 2026년 완공될 예정입니다.

제주동부경찰서는
지난 1988년 10월 지금의 청사로 이전한 뒤
지금까지 운영되고 있습니다.
