\Jeju as Successful Candidate for Software Project

The Provincial office has been finally selected as the successful candidate for the Ministry of Science and ICT’s Software Convergence Cluster project.

As a result, the province will receive a financial support of 3.1 billion won through 2026 to establish a data-based industrial ecosystem of smart cities. The provincial office will push forward developing and demonstrating software convergence services, establishing a data hub and supporting international market advance.

Jeju Province and Daegu City are selected as the consortiums for the project and the project is expected to create job positions for 1,200 people, to cultivate 750 workers and to discover 25 new service areas.

소프트웨어 융합 클러스터 공모사업에
최종 선정됐습니다.

이에따라
제주도는 2026년까지 국비 31억여 원을 지원받아
데이터 기반의 스마트시티 산업 생태계 조성을 목표로
소프트웨어 융합 서비스 개발과 실증,
데이터 허브 구축,
글로벌 시장 진출 지원 등을 추진할 계획입니다.

특히 이번 사업에는
제주도와 대구시가 컨소시엄으로 선정됐으며
일자리 창출 1천 200명,
신규 서비스 발굴 25건,
인력 양성 750명 등의 기대 효과를 전망했습니다.
