Commemoration Ceremony for Provisional Government

A ceremony to commemorate the 103rd anniversary of the Provisional Government of Korea was held on the 11th at the Jeju (항일)Hangil Memorial Hall in (조천읍) Jocheon-eup.

The provincial government and Jeju Restoration Society organized the ceremony and 180 attendees,
including heads of local organizations and members of
the Restoration Society participated in the ceremony.
Participants paid their respect to the sacrifices borne
by ancestors, and pledged to maintain the spirit of independence.

(구만섭) Koo Man-sub, the acting Jeju Governor,
said during a commemorative speech that he will make efforts to inherit our ancestors’ spirit of independence and work to pass on its legacy to future generations.

11일 오전 제주시 조천읍 항일기념관에서
열렸습니다.

제주도와 광복회 제주도지부가 마련한 오늘 행사에는
도내 기관장과 광복회원 등 180명이 참석한 가운데
선열들의 희생을 기리고
자주독립정신 계승을 다짐했습니다

구만섭 도지사 권한대행은 기념사를 통해
선조들의 숭고한 독립 정신과
임시정부의 위대한 유산이
우리 삶에 뿌리내리고 미래 세대로 이어지도록
책임을 다하겠다고 강조했습니다.
