POE Decreases Documentation by 52%

The number of official documents released by local education offices to schools has decreased hugely this year.

The Provincial Office of Education said that the office has tried to minimize the number of official documents sent to schools in order to be able to respond effectively to COVID-19 and manage curriculum stably.

As a result, the number of released official documents has decreased by 52% compared to the same period last year.

The POE decreased the number of official papers by 61%
and the Seogwipo City and Jeju City Office of Education reduced
by 37% and 31%, respectively.

The POE had started operating a reporting system for
unnecessary documents and introduced a prior approval system
for local school administration to help minimize the issuance of official papers.

올해 신학기 각급 학교에 발송되는 공문서가 크게 감소했습니다.

제주도교육청은
3월 코로나19 대응과 안정적인 교과 운영을 위해
공문서 발송을 최소화한 결과
지난해 같은 기간보다 52% 감축했다고 밝혔습니다.

기관별로는 제주도교육청 본청이 61%,
서귀포시 교육지원청이 37%,
제주시교육지원청이 31% 줄었습니다.

교육청은 공문서 발송 최소화를 위해
불편한 공문서 신고방을 운영하고
학교 발송 문서에 대한 사전 승인제를 도입했습니다.
