Extend in Bicycle Insurance Period

Jeju City has extended its bicycle insurance program for city residents for another year. The bicycle insurance program has been operated since 2016 with a budget of 150 million won.

Residents of Jeju City are automatically signed up for the insurance without any additional procedures. Residents are eligible for the benefits, when bicycle accidents take place regardless of the place of occurence of the accidents.

When a bicycle accident occurs, residents can apply for compensation within three years from the occurrence.

In addition, they can receive benefits from the city’s insurance program, which is separate and in addition to private insurance compensation.

제주시가
1억 5천여 만원이 예산을 투입해
지난 2016년부터 시행해 온
자전거 보험 가입을 연장합니다.

이에 따라
제주시에 주민등록을 두고 있는 시민이면 누구나
자동 가입되며
자전거 사고 발생 시
사고 지역과 관계없이
보험 혜택을 받을 수 있습니다.

자전거 보험료 지급 신청은
사고 발생일로부터 3년간 가능하고
개인적으로 가입한
다른 보험과 별개로
중복 지급 받을 수 있습니다.
