Province Expands on Employment Support

The provincial office will expand the national employment support system.

As a result, the province will secure 13 billion won of national budget this year and support 5,598 residents, which is an increase by 1,000 people compared to last year.

The support system will subsidize up to 3 million won in jobseeker's allowance depending on their income, asset and age or offer financial support of 1.95 million won as job seeking activity expenses.

In particular, the system establishes an early employment allowance this year in which job seekers who find their jobs within three months from receiving a jobseeker's allowance will be able to have an additional 500,000 won.

Applications are accepted through the Employment Information Center or the official website of the national employment support system.



국민취업지원제도 확대…올해 5,598명 지원

제주특별자치도가 국민취업지원제도를 확대 시행합니다.

이를 위해 올해 국비 130억원을 확보해 지원 대상을 지난해보다 1천명 늘어난 5천 598명으로 확대합니다.

주요내용을 보면 소득이나 재산, 연령 등에 따라 구직촉진수당으로 최대 300만원, 또는 취업활동비용으로 195만원을 지원합니다.

특히 올해부터 '조기취업수당'이 신설돼 구직촉진수당을 3개월 이내로 받다가 취업한 경우 한차례에 한해 50만원이 추가 지급됩니다.
