238 Bil Won Estimated for Odengbong Park

Local officials have appropriated 238 billion won for land compensation for the development project of (오등봉) Odeungbong Park.

The Jeju City Municipal Office said that as the total estimated amount of land compensation for the development project site, which is 238 billion won, has been deposited, the city office is currently contacting landowners individually to inform them of an appraisal value.

This estimated amount has increased by 85 billion won from the tentative assessed value, which is 150 billion won.
The tentative assessed value was calculated
by five times the official land value.

Meanwhile, speculation that a special favor was offered to business operators and the former provincial governor Won Hee-ryong during the process of the (오등봉) Odeungbong Park Development project may be a critical issue against Won now that he is the current Candidate Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

제주시는
오등봉 공원 개발사업 부지 53만 5천여 제곱미터에 대한
감정평가 보상금 2천 380억 원이 전액 예치됨에 따라
토지주에게 개별적으로
평가액을 통보하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.

이는 앞서 공시지가의 5배를 적용해 책정했던
1천 5백억 원보다 850억 원 가량 오른 평가 금액입니다.

한편 오등봉개발사업은
사업자 특혜 의혹이 제기되면서
원희룡 국토부장관 후보자의 인사청문회에서도 쟁점이 될 전망입니다
