Coastal Trail Facilities Replaced in Oedo

The old coastal decks and safety facilities on the coasts of (외도동) Oedo-dong will be repaired, as they are prone to accidents due to corrosion.

The provincial office has decided to replace 125-meter-long coastal decks in (외도) Oedo by July, as a part of a coastal landscape restoration project.

The coastal trails in the area were established in 2012
and many residents and travelers are visiting the place.
However, the inspection revealed that steel frames of deck facilities are corroded by seawater.

제주시 외도 해안산책로가 정비됩니다.

제주도는
해안경관 복원사업의 일환으로
외도 산책로에 설치된
125미터 구간의 데크 시설을
오는 6월까지 전면 교체하기로 했습니다.

지난 2012년 조성된 외도 산책로는
주민과 관광객들이 많이 이용하고 있지만
상태를 점검한 결과
데크 시설의 철골기초가
바닷물에 의해 부식된 것으로 확인됐습니다.
