Special Entrance Procedures Withdrawn

The provincial office will eliminate special COVID-19 entry procedures conducted at the airport and ports from this week.

As a result, COVID-19 tests for new arrivals from foreign countries and showing COVID-like symptoms will be withdrawn. In addition, COVID-19 tests for Jeju residents who come to Jeju after visiting the mainland will also cease.

However, new arrivals from overseas must be COVID-19 tested
at a public health center within the jurisdiction of their residence.

203,000 COVID-19 tests have been conducted
at Walk-through Screening Centers at Jeju International Airport
and 1,900 people infected with COVID-19 have been screened.

이에따라 입도하는 해외입국자와 발열자,
도외 방문 후
입도 도민을 대상으로 이뤄졌던 코로나19 진단검사는 종료됩니다.

다만 해외입국자의 경우
실거주지 관할보건소에서 의무적으로 진단검사를 받아야 합니다.

그동안 제주공항 워크스루 선별진료소를 통해
입도객 등
20만 3천여명에 대한 진단검사가 이뤄졌고
이 가운데 양성자 1천 900여명을 조기에 발견했습니다.
