Support for Low Income Youths to be Expanded

The provincial office will expand the asset building support project for working youths in low income households.

The current five projects will be incorporated into three projects.

In particular, one of the projects will be expanded by allowing applications from people in households with lower than the median income from July.
Currently, people in households with lower than 50% of the median income can apply for the project.

The asset building support project helps low-income workers
by subsidizing 300,000 won when they deposit 100,000 to 500,000 won
to their own accounts.



일하는 저소득 청년 '자산형성지원' 사업 확대

제주특별자치도가
일하는 저소득 청년을 위한 자산형성지원사업을 확대합니다.

이를 위해 희망키움과 내일키움통장,
청년저축계좌 등 기존 5개 사업을 3개로 통합합니다.

특히 청년내일저축계좌의 경우
지금까지 중위소득 50% 이하에 한해 지원됐지만
오는 7월부터 100% 이하까지로 확대합니다.

자산형성지원사업은 저소득층 근로자를 대상으로 이뤄지고 있으며
월 10만원에서 최대 50만원까지 저축하면
정부에서 30만원까지 지원해주고 있습니다.
