Mobility Support for Election Day

The Jeju branch of the National Election Commission will offer movement support service for voters who have mobility difficulties on June 1st when the local election and by-election day will be held.

The Jeju NEC will help the disabled, seniors and pregnant women to exercise their voting rights by providing vehicles to transport them from their homes to voting places.

The Jeju Transportation Handover Support Center will offer the service for the registered members on the early voting days, on the 27th and 28th, and on the day of local election which is June 1st.

The Korea Association of Persons with Physical Disabilities and rehabilitation center for the disabled
will provide the service on June 1st only.

Residents who want to receive the service should apply for the service by making a phone call to related organizations, associations or National Election Commission by the 31st.



선관위, 투표일 장애인·어르신 차량 지원

제주도 선거관리위원회가
6.1지방선거와 보궐선거 투표일에
거동이 불편한 도민을 대상으로 차량 이동을 지원합니다.

이동 지원이 필요한
중증장애인과 어르신, 임산부 등에게
거주지로부터 투표소까지
차량을 지원해
투표권 행사를 돕는 취지입니다.

제주도교통약자이동지원센터는
등록된 회원에 한해오는 27일과 28일 사전투표일과
6월 1일 본투표일에 이동편의를 제공하고

그밖에 지체장애인협회나 시각장애인복지관 등은 6월 1일에만 지원합니다.
지원을 희망하는 도민은 오는 31일까지 주관 시설이나 단체,
관할 선관위에 전화로 신청하면 됩니다.
