Translation Services offered for Multicultural families

Translation services of school newsletters for multicultural families who have elementary school student children will be run on a test basis.

Jeju Multicultural Family Center said that school newsletters translated in mother languages of school parents in multicultural families will be offered to students in four elementary schools including (구좌 중앙) Kujwa Jungang Elementary School, (무릉) Murung Elementary School, (원랑) Wollang Elementary School and (한라) Halla Elementary School from this month.

The service will be expanded to all elementary schools from the second semester after considering recommendations made from the pilot period.

Parents who wish to receive translation service can receive the service after making applications.



다문화가정 가정통신문 번역 서비스 시범운영

초등학생 자녀를 둔 다문화가정을 위해
가정통신문 번역 서비스가 시범 운영됩니다.

제주국제교육원 제주다문화교육센터는
이달부터 구좌중앙초등학교와 무릉초, 월랑초, 한라초 등 4개 학교에
한국어 능력이 부족한 다문화가정 부모의 모국어로 번역된 가정통신문을 제공한다고 밝혔습니다.

이어 시범 운영결과 건의사항 등을 반영해
2학기에는 전체 초등학교로 확대될 예정입니다.

학부모가 문자 수신을 원하는 경우에는
별도 신청을 통해 번역된 가정통신문 내용을 확인할 수 있습니다.
