Seogwipo City Commemorates World Environment Day

The Seogwipo City government will hold a flea market commemorating the World Environment Day on June 4th at the Jeju World Cup Stadium.

The flea market event has not been held or has been scaled down since 2019 due to COVID-19.

The event commemorating the World Environment Day will include giving environmental merit awards,
a flea market including re-formed second-hand furniture.

In addition, booths will be set up that include accessory making booths that use waste plastic or cans to promote recycling.

Seogwipo City plans to donate the profits
from the event to the Seogwipo Education Development Fund.



6월 4일 '환경의날 나눔장터' 3년 만에 개최

서귀포시가
코로나 여파로 취소, 축소했던
환경의날 환경나눔장터를
다음 달 4일 제주월드컵경기장에서
개최합니다.

3년 만에 열리는 이번 행사에는
환경유공자 표창과 중고물품 판매 장터,
폐가구를 활용한 리폼가구 장터 등이마련됩니다.

폐플라스틱이나 캔을 활용한
장신구 만들기 같은
자원 순환 참가 부스도 운영됩니다.

서귀포시는 행사 수익금을 서귀포시교육발전기금으로
기탁할 예정입니다.
