Safety issues in Performance Theaters

Safety Issues have been found in performance theaters in Jeju City due to improper management.

The Jeju City Municipal Office inspected facilities in 25 performance theaters and detected ten issues, including faults at electrical and stage facilities.

In particular, six issues were found in the fire protection system. The inspection results show that fire extinguishers, fire exit, emergency light and evacuation route signs are poorly managed.

Jeju City notified employees of the performance theaters of the safety issues detected during the inspection and asked them to correct the safety problems within a specific period.

제주시지역 공연장 안전시설 관리가 불량한 것으로
나타났습니다.

제주시가 지역내 공연장 25곳을 대상으로 안전점검을 벌인 결과
무대시설과 전기시설 등 10건의 지적사항이 나왔습니다.

특히 소방시설 지적사항은 6건이 확인됐는데
소화기나 비상구, 비상조명등, 통로 유도표지 등에서
상태가 불량한 것으로 조사됐습니다.

제주시는 지적된 사항을 공연장 관계자에게 고지하고,
기간 내에 보완하도록 했습니다.
