Applications Initiated for April 3rd Compensation

The provincial government is accepting applications for compensation for the victims of the April 3rd Incident.

The applications have a total of six phases through May 2025. Eligible applicants are 2,100 people, including the victims of the April 3rd Incident and their bereaved families, who are determined as heirs of the victims based on civil law in 2002.

Applications are being accepted at the provincial office, two city offices and local community centers.

The province has established an integrated information system in which applicants can seek out their appropriate application phase and check the progress of their applications.



4·3 보상금 신청 시작…올해 2천100명

제주도가 1일부터
제주 4.3 사건 희생자 보상금 지급 신청을 받고 있습니다.

보상금 신청은
오는 2025년 5월까지 모두 6차례로 나눠 진행되며,
올해 신청대상은 2천 100명으로
생존 희생자 본인과
2002년 11월 20일에 결정된 희생자의 민법상 상속권자입니다.

접수는 제주도청 4.3 지원과와 양 행정시 자치행정과,
그리고 읍면동 주민센터를 통해 이뤄지고 있습니다.

제주도는 보상금 신청차수와
진행상황 등을 바로 조회할 수 있도록
4.3 종합정보시스템을 구축해 놓고 있습니다.
